Please look directly above you. Here you can see the construction work above the ceiling. The beams assembled lengthwise and breadth wise to create the roof truss are thick pine logs two-meters in circumference and approximately 10 meters in length, supporting the large roof of the main palace. No nails were used to assemble these beams; instead, they were assembled using a traditional construction method called tsugite, by chiseling mortises and cutting tenons and interlocking them.
